Other than disagreeing with the powers that be regarding their opinion of Sooner football are there any other reasons for banning someone?

Boomer Sooner!

PS - I expect that their is no other reason than the arbitrary and capricious nature of the powers that be so please take your Mydol.

Forum Rules

Registration at SoonerFans.com is free! You will find that we are one of the most loosely moderated Sooner boards (or boards of any kind, for that matter) around. We do have some rules, though, and we insist that you abide by them as detailed below. If you agree to the terms, please check the 'I agree' checkbox and press the 'Register' button below. If you would like to cancel the registration, click here to return to the forums index.

Although the HMFIC, Phil, and the moderators of SoonerFans.com Message Boards will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither Roadhouse Enterprises, LLC, the owner of SoonerFans.com Message Boards, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws. You further warrant that you will not post photos or links to any pornographic or otherwise lewd or unacceptable materials. Personal attacks on other posters, including name-calling, vulgar or not, are strictly prohibited and may result in suspension of posting privileges or banning from the board.

The owners of SoonerFans.com Message Boards reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason or no reason at all. Remember, the First Amendment only applies to the government. The government doesn't run this board, which means that freedom of speech here is what the HMFIC says it is. Capish?

Oh, and if you try to register with a yahoo, hotmail, gmail, or other "free" e-mail address, you will get a message saying you can't register because your e-mail address has been banned. Due to prior abuses, we do not allow the use of yahoo, hotmail, or any other "free" e-mail addresses to register on the board. You will need to use a "real" address from your ISP or work to register. If you don't have a "real" e-mail address, you can send e-mail through the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the board with the username and password you want to use, along with your e-mail address and birthdate, and we will add you to the board manually.

Yes. The mods usually won't ban you just for disagreeing with them. Things that WILL get you baned include, but are not limited to:

Posting pics of nekkid wimmin.
Trolling, namecalling (that isn't joking), and otherwise being an ***.
Spamming the boards with ads.
Any other reason the mods might have to ban you.

That pretty much covers it.

I don't know who you are or what you're whining about, but you obviously got banned at some point. A very brief check of your posting history shows you violated rules you agreed to follow.

There's another rule around here you're breaking right here in this thread. Phil doesn't take kindly to people bashing mods. To help you understand the rules are meant to be followed, you're getting banned again. GADOCADWI! You get a free day off to think about whether or not you're going to follow the rules in the future. If you weren't new, you'd get a warning. If you come back and break the rules again you may get perma-banned.

Daaaaaang. DavidEarl ain't playing around today.

And FYI - whining will probably get you baned sooner than anything else.
