As high tech as little plastic blocks can go.

Basically, you can download a 3-D modeling program, model anything you want, upload it to the lego website, and get shipped all the pieces you need, plus instructions.

I shudder to think of Dolemite's life-sized Soonerpimp lego creation.

Hopefully, they're still those sweet Lego instructions where the new block just appears in the next frame and you have to go looking for it. Seriously, I loved the way they gave no indication what the new block was. Often it was obvious, but many times, it was a real challenge.

So they come with instructions on how to put them together to make your design? Sounds like they'd have to pay somebody to sit and figure that out. I want that job.
