So we go to Lumpy's last night after the comedy show at the Looney Bin (http://www.loonybincomedy.com/ok/). Where we saw Todd Yohn (http://www.toddyohn.com/), who is hilarious btw. VK was kicking her usual *** at the NTN trivia game logged in as Shamu of course (she beats the rest of the bar nearly every time we play.) I was logged in as CZAR supa.

So all night we were noticing this guy that used to work at the mall 15 years ago when we did. He gets up to leave and walks by so we ask him if he is indeed the dude that worked at Oak Tree in the early ninety's. After talking for a bit he turns to me and says, "I love your work BTW, I'm sorry they took your board away." I was like "huh?" He says, "the fark board." Apparently you must be a member to view the fark board these days.

We thanked him for the compliment and told him "Registration at SoonerFans.com is free! Next time we come to KC, we'll have the SO NTN shootout at the OK Corral. I imagine I'll be able to hold my own.

I have to warn you. The last time I played some NTN was at the SE Tulsa Jaycees NTN tournament - I won the first round with a perfect score. I would've won it all but I got too drunk to see the screen.

a couple years ago we went to the OU/tx game. The night before the game, we went to Humperdinks, (spell?) she logged in as TXSCKS and got the 1-10 top spots for the bar. They keep the high scores up for a month I think.

I used to pwn NTN at The Vista back in tha day. Then like SoonerInKCMO said, I'd get too drunk to pay attention.

But I'd still stomp all over a stupid girl any day.

heh..that's kinda cool. Once at Damon's, my wife and I had two of the controllers and were doing the NTN trivia thing, and a little while later a guy and his son walked up...turned out it had been a guy that we knew from online years earlier, and I had done some contracted work for back then as well. He recognized me from the Sargon name I used there for NTN trivia.
