Didn't watch this bowl game, so don't really have a comment on it. Nonetheless is was funny to see old Steve in the news.

your earlier comments on the cat did come to mind whilst reading the startelegram this morn. if ida known his crew was officiating the louisville/va.tech game i would have watched it just to look at those clowns.

I watched that game. Usecheck was pathetic.

I too thought he was going to retire.

So coaches, players and administrators can't comment on the quality of officiating but the refs have free reign to engage in commentary about the teams? Whatever!

And if VT was out of control why didn't the refs get them under control?

He called the wrong guy for a penalty during that game. He needs to hang it up. He and Keith Jackson and Bob Berry need to just get together, call a press conference, and ride into the sunset.

Right on man. I've always thought it was BS that a coach isn't allowed to call BS on calls.


And if VT was out of control why didn't the refs get them under control?
They tried. They called a personal foul and a couple other questionable calls within a couple of minutes early in the game against VT.
