since Ziggy is a kind of rock messiah story, and concludes with the cut "Rock and Roll Suicide" (which also concluded each of the Ziggy live shows) and the title cut describes Zig "making love to his ego, and sucked up into his mind, like a leper messiah..." while Bowie was around to still be selling most of Hunky Dory for commercials (Changes, Oh you pretty things, etc.) and Heroes to microsoft....i think Bowie outlasted Zig.

what else can you say: he took it all too far, but boy could he play guitar.

Ziggy was crazy...

Bowie is old and reserved now.

Ziggy would beat Bowie's a$$ to a pulp in a raging fit of blows, kicks and jabs and then Bowie's Body guards would jump in and break Ziggy's back, hands and legs.
