View Full Version : My cat loves Clorox

I always clean countertops, sinks, etc. with Clorox - because I have animals roaming around. I have a cat who LOVES the smell of Clorox. It's like catnip to him. After I clean a countertop with Clorox he rolls all over it - same with the sink. He can hardly wait until I finish so he can jump in the sink and roll in the smell. Hmmm - kinda defeats the purpose of using Clorox doesn't it?

try scrubbing your counters with anti-freeze.

doesn't seem to bother him. He doesn't lick it or anything, just rolls in it. I dry off the Clorox so it's not wet - he just likes the smell.

Still, cats lick themselves all day long, so wouldn't that still hurt the cat?

I wish my cats liked clorox. And anti-freeze. We could burn throught those nine lives in a month.

Hmm, maybe Harry Beanbag can use this somehow to solve his couch dilema...

I've got the remedy.
duck tape the cat spread eagle to your goodyears' using ducktape and take it for a ride. hopefully you do a little curb checking while you're at it! ;)
