I got mine on Tuesday and they sound great with my Sound Blaster Live sound card.

yeah, the logitech one's are basically untouchable for their price vs performance.

JBL's are usually pretty nice sounding too.

i might look into those since my desk/computer speakers are standard issue. i've got this rocking set of old timey infinity book shelf speakers and some even older JBL's that along with my 4,000 LB dinosaur Denon amp are the shizz....but my apt buliding is old (yet very cool) and the sound is just too much through the walls and floor to be fair to the other tenants.

really, this Denon is a beast. it definitely goes to 11. i bought it refurbished from a friend who used to work at an audio store inna day. i've got a old Yamaha amp number my mom is using/borrowing and i sort of miss it....but i can't pull the plug on her. she's my mom.

$42? I spent about $100 for my sony POS speakers with a subwoofer. Of course that was probably about 1995 or so.

I played around with those at the Apple Store is Phoenix. The sub reminds me of a Dyson vacuum
