Offensively-Nebraska loves to run the "pass the ball aimlessly for 30 sec offense then jack up an off balance three or throw the ball away.

Defensively the schemes are sound but NU hasn't played with much intensity all year.

NU doesn't shoot free throws particularly well, some times atricoiusly(like my spelling), and look like junior high girls when faced with a press.

Players-Wilkinson has been the best player so far, his range extends past the arc, and is the leading shot blocker on the team. Had this staff ever developed players effectively he could have been the next Piakowtski. But he isn't, and he is often foul plaged, and occansianly is a non-factor.

McCray-Scored a lot last year. This year came in fat, got cited for assualt and has been a non-factor in meaningful parts of the game. Has been scoring alot of garbage points lately. Will get pulled at least once a game for lack of effort on defense

Douriseau-Best athlete, can slash, won't hit a jumper past 15 feet or his free throws. Will have at least two stupid fouls, plus some turnovers. Overall he has been the second best player this year. Looks like he cares most the time which more than you can say about everyone else except Wilkinson

Maric-Is big, has potential, will randomly have big games. For some reason he hasn't figured out that he is 6'11" and that he can just dunk the d*** ball when in close, instead will usually miss a bunny. Only occasionally will assert himself.

Walker-Competent 5th wheel, rebounds and defends well enough. Will hit jumpers out to the arc if you leave him open.

Walker/White/Richardson-shoot first point, big combo guard, poor man's Drew Lavender. The first two have potential, the third is compentent at times.

Perry-Strictly a gunner, Schelip-Walk-on pick setting specialist, Marks-raw jumping jack, Ledsome and Wilbrand will only see the court in a blow out

This will be your first oppurtunity to play a dead coaching walking in the big XII. Barry's m.o this years has been to sip on his cold drink looking like he doesn't care will the team finds new ways to embarress the sport of basketball when faced with a decent opponent.

There might be 9,000 tops in the BDSC on Saturday, the students won't be fully back yet, most of the fans are shellshocked and cynical, so it likely won't be racous. However, NU is good for one inexplicable good game at home a year, sometimes two. This might be one of them, if the team decides to play like they want Barry back next year.

It isn't early February yet, so we will probably beat a mediocre dead coach walking team on the road.

Will you all get Altman if (when) Collier is fired?

NU is losing as of right now to 1-14 Northern Colorado. Altman won't leave Creighton for NU. He plays to packed crowds in Omaha, and will get his best player back on Medical Redshirt next year. Altman is very loyal to Creighton, and wouldn't leave except for an easy shot at a national title. He turned down Illinios a few years ago, so I don't see him coming to Lincoln.

I'm not so confident anymore after the SMU game.

I disagree. This kid Walker from KC is the real deal. He might not show it tomorrow/today, but he knows the game and is going to get better with every game he gets to play. OU could use a young gaurd like this.

Look who he posted those numbers against. Plus if you read what I wrote closely, I pointed out that he had potential but he didn't do doodly squat against Creighton or FSU, so I would be touting him as the best thing since sliced bread yet.

talk about reading closely "He might not show it tomorrow/today, but he knows the game and is going to get better with every game he gets to play". This kid is a freshman with about 10 games under his belt, i don't care who it was against.

It sounds like they have stolen Kelvins offensive game plan.

But we don't run it nearly as effectively.
