Now that we've seen a little bit of each team (except Baylor), I'm going to go with...

1. Texas: 26-4 (14-2)
2. Oklahoma: 23-4 (13-3)
3. Oklahoma State: 23-8 (10-6)
3. Kansas: 20-9 (10-6)
3. Iowa State: 18-9 (10-6)
6. Texas A&M: 19-8 (8-8)
6. Texas Tech: 19-11 (8-8)
8. Kansas State: 17-10 (7-9)
9. Nebraska: 17-12 (6-10)
10. Colorado: 14-13 (5-11)
11. Missouri: 11-16 (3-13)
12. Baylor: 2-14 (2-14)

Texas and OU get #1 or #2 seeds in the NCAA Tournament.
Oklahoma State and Kansas make it comfortably...4-6 seeds.
Iowa State gets in around 8/9.
A&M and Tech sit the bubble. A&M likely out due to crappy non-conference schedule.
KSU and Nebraska to the NIT
Everyone else stays home.

1. Oklahoma 16 - 0

Baylor's gonna win two games? Against who?

Missouri and K-State at home. They're more talented than last year for sure. Also a little deeper. I think they'll be a little bit better...but still not good obviously.

I'm better at picking football because I actually know how many games each team plays total...so forgive me if the totals are off.

1. OU 22-5 (12-4 conference- our late Jan.-early Feb. drought where we shoot 23% from the floor and lose to someone like Nebraska, non-conference loss is to WVU...we get Pittsnogled.)
2. UT 23-7 (11-5)
3. Texas A&M 21-6 (10-6)
3. Texas Tech 20-10 (10-6)
3. Aggy 20-11 (10-6)
6. Iowa State 19-8 (9-7)
7. Kansas 18-11 (8-8)
7. KSU 17-10 (8-8)
9. Colorado 13-14 (7-9)
9. Nebraska 12-15 (7-9)
11. Missouri 10-17 (6-10)
12. Baylor 1-15 (1-15)

OU wins tournament over UT in classic final, with OU avenging a loss in Austin.
OU gets #1 seed, UT #2, A&M #7 (weak schedule), Tech #6, Aggy #6, ISU #9, KU sneaks in because of name recogition at #11, KSU and Colorado get NIT births, everyone else, save Baylor, find new coaches.

I'll defer until I see how we perform against Tulsa and Villanova. 'Nova's gonna be a tough, tough team to beat on their home court, but I'd like to come close than KU did last year. :)

Over whether or not Baylor beats Missouri at home? No thanks. :texan:

Hey whorn, there is whornfans.com, or haven't you heard? Only a whorn would come to another team's board to inform us you are going to finish first. That is the lowest of the low, but then, you are a whorn, despite all the time you spend over here.

I think you should make this your sig. This way, it'd technically be in every post you made, plus, you could post like normal.

Save some of us the time of reading it over and over. :D

13-3/12-4 wins the conference. the latter likely a shared title.

i'll take the over on CU's conference wins at 5. with a good coach i'd put them in the top half of the conference.

I'll definitely be watching that OU/Nova game. Should be a good one. OU/UT games should be barn burners this year.

How in the crap are all of you ranking the aggies so high? They are dropping like a rock! They are 2-5 right now and have this schedule left:

02/04 at Kansas St
02/08 #18 Oklahoma
02/11 at Texas A&M
02/13 Kansas
02/19 #8 Texas
02/22 at Iowa St
02/25 Texas Tech
02/27 at #18 Oklahoma
03/04 Baylor

I say they win 4 more games and miss the NIT!

BTW, OU will finish 2nd behind Texass but win the Big 12 tourny, again!

Look at the dates on those posts. They are more than a month old.

This thread started well before conference season was underway and therefore wasn't based on info that people know now. Two, if the Brokebackers win 4 games they will make the NIT. You pretty much need only be .500 if you come from a big conference.

As for actual conference predictions, another thread would probably be better but since this one is resurrected my guess at this point (without breaking down everyone's schedule individually) is.

1. Whorns 14-2
2. KU 11-5 w/ tiebreaker
3. OU 11-5
4. Colo 9-7
5. ISU 9-7
6. KSU 8-8
7 OSU 7-9
8. Neb 6-10
9. TT 6-10
10. A&M 6-10
11 MU 5-11
12 Bay 2-10

I might change my mind some if I broke down schedules.

Got both of 'em.

Apparently I'm only good at predicting what Baylor does.
