you can see for 250 miles. If you stand on the goal line, apparently you can't see anything!" SportsCenter 11/19/05

I give SC spek for calling out the zebra crew on this one!

I don't know which announcer it was. It wasn't one of the Gameday crew though.

College Gameday Final this morning didn't mention that any of it was questionable and, in fact, has the last play as a possible " Pontiac game changing performance". Gimme a break. Great quote though.

- Bix XII Media Guide Page 20. Instant Replay Guide.

"The following are examples of plays that are NOT reviewable:
1. Holding

On the INT in the first half that was ruled on replay somehow a TT first down, was that because they found holding or something on the play?
Interestingly, holding is not reviewable. I watched the game, but couldn't hear b/c of the sound in the bar (thank god for the beer)."

"The Big 12 Conference has formed a supervisory committee of NFL officials who oversee and grade the performances of big 12 officiating crews. The NFL officials, who live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, meet with Big 12 Supervisor of Football Officials Tim Millis and grade every game tape with a Big 12 officiating crew. In addition, Big 12 officials undergo written and physical testing prior to each season."

If there's one thing from the '05 season that still sticks in my craw is that game against TTech. And there's only one thing that will exorcise or expel the feeling from my body and soul.

I hope the Sooners rain down upon the sand aggie heads a super-sized, Old Testament retribution, make 'em cry for their mommas by half-time, butt kicking.

I hear Leach has been scouring the Lubbock convenience stores for some clerks with spare time to fill in as "referees."
