Yeah, I know, I couldn't think of a cost-comparitive Mexican cuisine chain that is as abysmal as Changs.

I admit I like their lettuce wraps, however. :D

And if you're in Dallas, Lover's Egg Roll pwnz Changs. :P

Of course, $565 for a dinner is expensive if you include plane tickets and stuff.

What OKC needs is a freaking CHEESECAKE FACTORY DAMMIT.

PF Changs=Chili's.

For people that don't know the history of Changs and Chili's... this above is TRUE.

A few Brinker (Chili's) execs and chefs bolted several years ago, and wanted to start their own restaurant chain. So who did they go to for the investment money? BRINKER! (Chili's), Brinker invested, and later was bought out of the investment by Changs.

A few years later, Brinker (Chili's) realizes, holy crap! We don't have a franchise to compete with Changs, so, they invested (and bought) Big Bowl. Which failed miserably, so they sold it back to the development company, and closed all of them except in Michigan, and Illinois. Which kinda sucks, cause Big Bowl was pretty good.

And now, that I am free from the chains of Brinker, I have lots of these stories. :D

I like Changs. Szechuan Chicken Chow Fun rawks. I like Pei Wei, too, but since there's so little difference in price, I prefer Changs. I kind of figure PW is maybe $2/dish over what it should be. You know, just like Chang.

If you're in Bristow, try Lin Cuisine. It used to be called the Golden Wu. Their hot and sour soup is way hot... and sour. And they do a great General Tso.

See, there just aint so much good oriental food 'round here. Oh, sure you've got Binh Li and Lanna Thai, but that's Vietnamese and, um Thai. Snot Chinese.

I never ate one good chinese meal in Oklahoma and I refused to eat sushi that far from the ocean.

Speaking of which, I had all-you-can eat sushi yesterday for lunch. I love living next to the ocean.

My fish monger can get me fish just as fresh as any restaurant on any coast.

And sushi at Sushi Neko can go up against any big time sushi joint. Even Nobu, although the variety at Nobu is almost unmatched.

Mmmm, Nobu. I think I might head to Vegas soon. :D

Uh-huh. Your fishmonger also has to pay to have the fish put on a jet and brought over-and it's STILL not as fresh as any restaurant in town here. There's one that serves fish that was still floppin' around earlier in the day.

Never ate at sushi neko. Wasabi's in downtown Seattle is pretty freakin' good though, and the chef at the Hilton downtown is one of the few who is licensed to do fugu.
