Mizzou just lost at home to Sam Houston State to open the season, 80-77.

This conference will finally be rid of one crappy coach. Hopefully they don't replace him with Melvin Watkins.

Yep. That was gnarly. Dude was wide open for those threes. SHS is not awful, but not Big 12 quality.

At least Melvin has some integrity.

At least not Big XII South quality. :D

I'll have to get up early tomorrow to listen to as much ranting on the radio as possible. :D Some people are going to have meltdowns.

That's precisely who I was thinking about when I said 'meltdown'. Alarm clock radio is tuned to WHB and set for 6:00 a.m. :D

I am also pretty sure Norm and Quin share the same barber.

Hence why I picked them 10th. I could be wrong...they could be WORSE than that. Baylor has some talent and at least KSTATE doesn't lose at home to Sam Houston State....Teams like Mizzou are the reason why KU has an inflated record every year. When you play Mizzou, the 'Huskers, CU, and KSTATE, you should beat them. ISU is the only perennial challenge for them up there. The Big XII South part of the conference is the gauntlet (UT, OU, TTECH, OSU). All 4 are in the Top 25, with an improved A&M, and Baylor is getting better (their penalty kills them this year). In football, Men's BBALL, and Women's BBALL, the North just flat stinks!

Mizzou's board=teh suck.

I'd go after some mid-major's coach, like Manhattan's coach or something.

My fear is that Mizzou will hire Bob Huggins. he is out of work and looking to coach.

Didn't they lose to Davidson last year?

And Belmont the year before, I believe.

How is it that Misery has the worst two coaches in conference in their two big moneymaking sports? I mean, come on. Their AD must be the Hamburgler or something.

And yet someway, somehow, they'll find a way to knock off Kansas again at The Paige.

I miss Norm.

Norm hates basketball. He posts that all the time.
