I saw some things called "Grapples" at Reasor's not long ago. It's pronounced "GRAPE-les," and they look like apples, but are supposed to taste like grapes. I thought about trying some, but they were too expensive.

Similar to Pluots and Apriums. All this cross breeding fruit stuff is wicked cool.

I'm a fan of the small watermelons. Sometimes you just dont have enough room for a whole watermelon, and I never trust the half and quarters you can buy at the market.

Yeah, I hate it when they come to your house on Saturday afternoons and try to convert you.

Actually Grapples are just apples soaked in grape flavored high fructose corn syrup. I started to buy some once, but looked at the label more closely. A few days later a girl brought some to work. They are teh succ. They smell amazing. NO grape flavor at all. Scam!

Edit: Oh yeah, they're abucka pop too.

What a ripoff.

The Pluots are pretty good, though.

Wow, that link is all pimping them as some kind of fantastic way to eat healthy (I guess just eating grapes isn't good enough). High fructose corn syrup is some of the most unhealthy stuff made by man, isn't it?

I can't find them around here anymore. Hillbillies don't cotton to apples that cost almost $2/pound.

I'm afraid to eat crossed fruit. If God wanted us to eat funny fruits, he would have made them. :P
