I am thinking either Boulevard or Beck's. But I am open to suggestions.

That's not available up here, if I go to the right place I could get Lonestar though. I do like the occasional Lonestar. It is just too bad they quit making Falstaff. Now there was a quality beer, it actually got better warm.

I haven't had Lonestar in a long time, but I used to think that it smelled like corn chips! :(

That's why I am glad that I don't have much of a sense of smell.

McEwan's Scotch Ale. Trust me.

If you can't find any of that, go with Fuller's ESB or London Pride.

If you can't find any of THAT, the default setting is old faithful: Shiner Bock.

The label is where I got my handle. :D

*Bump* So I was at Wal-Mart tonight on a diaper, popcorn and face wash run, and I thought I'd cruise my buggy by the beer section. I found a beer called "Pete's Wicked Ale" and I bought a sixer. I highly recommend it, good stuff. Anyone tried it?

Pete's at Wal-Mart? Surprising. Pete's is OK. I liked their holiday beer.

I'm drinking a New Belgium Brewing Abbey Ale right now. Very good stuff. Had a Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barley Wine last night.

If you ever start drinking quality craft and import beer on a regular basis you won't be able to go back to the macro-swill of Bud and Coors.

Yeah it's hard for me to settle on Bud Light anymore. I have mentioned before that I'm a big Bitburger fan (among many other imports)

I'm addicted to Boulevard Pale Ale! Too bad I just put 3 in the fridge and they aren't cold yet. All of Boulevard's brews are very good. I wish we could get Great Divide beers in Oklahoma (a Colorado brewer). I discovered them last August when I went to Texas and I've had people haul cases back for me ever since.

Oh, that stuff is GOOD. Too bad it's $4.50 a bottle for a 10 oz'er.

Damn you guys, I was just going to have 1 brew tonight but after this beer talk I think I'll have another! :P

Ever try a Dead Guy Ale by Rogue?
It's awesome, but definitely not the stuff to swill while mowing the lawn.

My science-nerd buddy (from Tulsa via aTm) assured me that a bath in salty ice-water will get your beer to the perfect temperature within 5 (five) minutes. It works. (Think of how you make homemade ice cream.)

The resurfacing of this thread reminds me that I forgot to pick up a six pack of Sapporo today. Darn.

Hmmm..interesting. Plus if you leave a bottle in salty ice-water too long it won't shatter like the freezer does to it.
