Manny needs to be a DH and STFU!

If he wasn't such a headache, he would have been a Yankee a few years ago.

Now the Cubs need to fire Jim Hendry and hire Epstein!

heh, the conflicting stories about why Epstein didn't sign the deal are amusing..one says he was tired of a 'power struggle' with someone else in the Red Sox front office, the other said that he didn't want anything to do with the 'rock star' status of being the Red Sox GM.

And there are others suggesting that he wasn't too enthralled with Larry Lucchino allowing some of the negotiations to be played out in the media.

I dunno. I mean, if Brian Cashman can deal with a super ego owner like George Steinbrenner, I'd like to think Theo Epstein could deal with somebody like Lucchino.

Did the Red Sox get a note from Epstein saying he was through as GM, and signed by his mother?

Welcome Back, Kotter reference for those that didn't get it.

People still watch Sportscenter?

When I'm on the elliptical at 5 in the AM, there's not much else to choose from.

Ha! I've gone back to reading the newspaper sports. I had forgotten that I could go from story to story, put it down, take a dump, come back to it later, read it when I got home....throw it away. The freedom literacy brings - good.

Heh, and no Stuart Scott :D
