I hate to say it, but this Series is over. The White Sox aren't going to lose four straight.
So the Red Sox broke their curse last year, and it looks like the Chisox are going to do the same this year. Next year, maybe it'll be the Rangers' turn. :D

The series ain't over yet. However, the fat lady was just spotted clearing her throat and she's stepping up to the mike.

Ensberg's batting cleanup.

If that stroke of managerial genius doesn't seal your team's fate, then I don't know what will.

this pregame thing is kinda nice...but does anyone actually remember a time when Edgar Martinez actually played 3rd base?

Well, if Garner can't call for a suicide squeeze with 1 out and the best bunter on the team is up to bat in the bottom of the 9th, the Astros will never win a World Series game.

I wonder how the hell the Astros even won the freaking Wild Card with that idiot managing your team.

He's an absolutely horrible manager.

Agree. Garner should be fired for his pathetic decisions.

Houston should have paid Beltran. They could have used his offense in this series.

but in order to afford Clemens, they couldn't sign Beltran...

Funny, how Clemens lost almost 10 games by 1 or 2 runs...

they can spend all they want. look @ the yankees.

just do like the rangers when they signed arod; beer goes up to $5.75>

(of course when he left, beer remained @ $5.75.)

what kills me is about a pint of water costs $3.00. the label costs more than the water.

The Rangers just raised ticket prices by another 5% for next year.

Of course, when they fail to go after another big name free agent and decide to keep their payroll in the $50-60 million, Hicks will still find a way to blame you, the Rangers fan.

i went to a dozen games this year. (actually paid for 12, only went to 11)

price increase won't affect me, going to zero games next year.

i'm not a rangers fan, so i found out that 12 games (or 11) was
11 or 12 too many.
