Yeah, it's very Jacob's Ladder/Vanilla Sky. Weird stuff happens after death in the movies.

Normally, a movie like Darko would be something I'd eat up. I tried getting into it (like Jacobs Ladder and Vanilla Sky), but it didn't have the same the same hooks. However I thought the placement of "Head over heels" by Tears for Fears was genius.
