I had a longtime cyclist recommend taking electrolyte capsules and BCAA (branched chain amino acid) supplements during long rides rides and runs instead of using Gatorade or a similar type drink. Which is fine, but the recommendation was 2 of the bcaa's and 4 electrolytes every two hours.

That seems like a lot on the stomache, any body use these?

I use accellerade. It's available at GNC. You get used to the taste.
