You mean one guy? I'm having trouble remembering when we had a TE like that. There's a guy in Ardmore that I hear is pretty good, maybe he'll do the trick.

Sounds like we need to get the tutor machine working on this kid. Even Rivals acknowledged he is a grade risk.

I don't think there is anyway that he will get a high enough GPA and/or ACT score to play at OU.

Well, he has Miami and Iowa State listed as well. Do they have lower standards ?

Miami is a private school, so you can pretty much throw standards out the window. Edgerrin James can barely read, and he went there.

i called up Dexter Manley, asked him to read this thread and call me back w/ some insight...
he said he liked the color scheme...

Adrian Cooper was also a decent TE. Smith might've lacked the blocking skills Beanbag was looking for.

Y'all don't be dissing my oldest son(Bubba).Look for him to not only block well as he has done but he will also be a better pass reciever this year.

He showed signs of improvement last year. I'm excited about what he might be able to do this year. Maybe he'll get a chemistry going with whoever is the starting QB.
