Its June 23 and he is batting .395 with 20+ homeruns, and 60ish RBI's that is freaking amazing. He may get a triple crown and bat .400.

Texas A&M has won a national championship in football since the last time the National League had a triple crown winner.

I dont see how he could keep this pace up. What throws me is that he has been known for slow starts to the season. I wonder what changed that this year. Could it have anything to do with Slammin Sammy leavin?

I want to know what he's eating. Too bad the Cubs' rotation is the walking wounded.

I'm kinda not wanting him to get it. I guess if he gets it he's earned it, but it seems wrong to put him on the same list with the likes of Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle and guys who have done it over a career.

The man is a Cub. If he has any chance, he will get seriously injured 2 games before the required minimum.

Could it have anything to do with Slammin Sammy leavin? An interviewer asked him the same question the other day. He said he tried harder in Spring Training and that's how he started out so hot. Makes sense

Looks like he might be heating up again. Two homers last night and like 6 in the last week.

Could it have anything to do with the little vile of clear liquid he found in Sammy's locker.

Hate the Cubs early and often.

Or maybe that's why Bagwell's joints and cartilage are disintegrating. :)

that and the fact that his batting stance is a catcher's squat ;)
