Its best to avoid those nasty fast-food places. The people who work there are often somewhat undesireable. Whenever we feel like Mexican food, I just have our cook Juana whip something up. She's from Guatamala, but we let her go home every Christmas and she has thus stayed quite grounded in her ability to make all those lovely South-of-the-Border tasty treats. All the ladies in my bridge club love Juana's guacamole. Its just deelish.

If some of you inhabitants of the Tejas area have not been exposed to the power that is Taco Casa, I suggest you give it a spin.

What else, tacos. Standard fast food Mexican fare, just seems "fresher" than the Buenos and Bells of the world, imo. Ooh, and the packets of hot sauce are damn tastey. I must admit, nothing beats a good old fashioned taqueria for tast and price though.

You've got a point. At least Taco "Bell" correctly conveys the idea that you're getting something inedible. :D

I once had a taco and I found no meat in it. I was somewhat disappointed.

Taco Bell has always served dog meat, and passed it off as beef. I get slightly nauseated just walking into one...so much so that Iv'e only been in maybe 4 or 5 times, SINCE THE 1960's.(My gawd, how have they been in business that long?)
