People who tell other people to get documents that can't be notarized notarized.

This petty ******* working for Hawaiian Airlines won't let a woman's child on a plane back from American Samoa to Alaska because Dad has a different name than the kid-never mind that it wasn't a problem for the kid to get on the plane from Anchorage to Pago Pago!-so he demands that this poor woman get a notarized letter stating that it's OK for the kid to get on the plane. Better yet-he wants it faxed to Pago Pago! Of course, a faxed notarization isn't binding, and good luck finding someone that'll fax a document to PAGO ****ING PAGO!

I can't just throw my seal on any old thing, damn it. There has to be a notarial certificate telling me what I'm attesting to-whether the person was sworn to an oath, whether a person proved that they were who they said they were and then signed it, whatever. By Alaska statute, I can't tell someone which one to use or provide one to use.

Donated blood today. S (not 1tc) had been wanting me to go donate with her since Thanksgiving, but our schedules never worked out while she was in town. She set up times to go on New Year's Eve day, but at the time she called me she was leaving right then and I was up to my elbows fixing my car's windshield washer pump. So, I told her I'd just go on my own later on.

Now, I ****ing hate needles, but donating blood is a big deal to her and whatever my status is with her, she's one person I'm not about to bull****, so I went over there today.

sql can have some memory leaks depending on the database size and some other factors depending on how the front end is coded. i was having the same issue because it kept pulling 16k records every time i opened 1 form and the programmer had to add a check to clear it out.

I didn't wear sunscreen yesterday (on purpose) so my shoulders got a bit pinker then I intended, but you can tell I've been to the beach. I'm going to see some Thai Boxing tonight, Pei Pei island tomorrow.

Well, to start off, the stupid client IT guys haven't set up their box to handle more than 4 gigs of the 13 gigs of RAM they have on it. That would help. Next, we need to patch up SQL Server, because it's old and crabby like that. Next, we need to set it up to handle memory paging on its own, rather than letting that crappy OS do it for us.

In general, we're just running into memory limits. Some queries are killing our system, and it's frustrating, because they're inconsistent.

After considering that the notes were posted a long, long time ago the banninator decided that the banning wasn't appropriate and he unbanned them. All of this happened on the same day as your thread - nothing more, nothing less.

Besides, I can get more bang for the buck buying from Dell. I might go with the latitude business line. They're 15.4" widescreens can get 9 hours from the 9 cell battery. The XPS 1530 does 4 hours, which isn't bad at all for a high powered, game capable note book. The kicker is I can get a 1530 with blue ray and , 4 gb's or ram and 200 gig 7200 rpm drive for less then $2500

but it doens't save me on size as much as i'd like. It does save me from carrying the beast monster that is a 17" but not by that much. I would be all over the 1330 and just buy an external monitor, if it had 256 of vid memory.

(the real kicker is I didn't pay attention to the time changes and missed out on a coupon)


Oh, and I checked the locked thread. There wasn't anything banana in it to me.

oh, and my iPod is acting up again. Won't always recognize on the USB, Wanted to redo it, but I didn't want t o take the time since i'm in the airport, got it to recognize. Theought about an iPhone, but 8 gb max me no like.

Nope. It was pretty much PRECISELY because you blatantly called the mods dickholes. FYI, you would have been banned for calling ANY posters on the board dickholes. Once again, namecalling on the board is a violation of board rules. I'm guessing you knew the exact circumstances behind it, because that particular person usually communicates pretty well when he bans someone, or asks them to reign it in. And he absolutely made the right call.

BTW, the person who banned you wasn't the same person who merged the 20 bazillion Gordon Ramsey threads that were on the board that day. In fact, one thing (the merging) had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the other (the banning), besides the fact that you got irritated about your thread being merged, and decided it was worth calling the mods dickholes over. Let me just say that I didn't think this whole deal was that big of a deal. I was surprised to all of a sudden be banned for something I supposedly left some time back.

BUT, I also know that there was a time when an elite sponsor was editing images that other people had left in my user notes, and the ones that were left were MUCH worse than the original image.
