So I went to a Christmas party last night.

Half of the party was people who are the level on the company org chart right above me

Half the party was VPs from the local Miller distributorship.

I ended up getting tanked with my boss and her husband.

Good times.

I also have a baking dish that the now ex gave me for Christmas-a pretty nice Pampered Chef one. It needs to be properly seasoned, so I'm about to roast a prime rib in it.

The prime rib is sitting on the counter all seasoned-up and coming to room-temperature and DAMN it smells good. Like win should smell, if win was also delicious.

So I totally just did stunt driving coming home from sh*tty vegitarian dinner. I fishtailed, slid sideways about 10 feet, then did a 900 before driving away unharmed in the other direction. I had to high-five God after that one; that was AWESOME.

And as much of a self-styled badass as I like to think I am, I have NO problem whatsoever giving that one all to God. He was in charge, I was just spinning around and whooping like a Duke boy. ;)


Now, if there had been, you know, any other cars on the road or anything for me to hit, then I would have been freaking out and screaming bloody murder. But there wasn't, so it was fun.

um, my holiday bonus was big enough to pay for my flight and hotels in thailand. It will also pay for most if not all of my going out and having fun (tours, fishing, possibly scuba). Next July or December i'll get my job completion bonus depending on when installation occurs.

I get an extra 3+ weeks of work in houston. I still get my day rate, but lose my uplift. I get perdium since I don't live in houston though. That's tax free though :D.

My life is only bad when i'm being stupid and sometimes I just like to vent in the IT ;)



oh, and i'm fixin to cook me some bacon. Bacon and fried egg sannich ftw.

I did work at what's now Wells Fargo's parent company back in 1998 in Fairbanks-but not on the commercial banking side. They weren't Wells Fargo back then, though...anyhow, I really hope I didn't do something horrible to her.

Then you get to work. And someone set the wrong time on the vault time lock. So the vault won't be opening until sometime tomorrow. And you have to call a senior VP and explain what happened.

Seriously, I was getting nothing but five-stars and perfects on Medium. Then I stepped up to Hard.

Yeah, that's a bit different.

And if I can talk about the awesomeness of Rock Band for a minute, I just five-starred "Wanted Dead or Alive" with the bass this morning, followed by five-starring "Cherub Rock" on bass. On medium only though.

I wasn't aware that you can get an up to 6x multiplier on bass (plus, you get the cool message "BASS GROOVE!" when you get above 4x...)
