So here's the deal:

Two people who I've known since high school who absolutely love me came in for a preapproval to buy a couple of cars. I mean, they REALLY love me. I dated their daughter briefly and 16 years later they're STILL trying to get us back together. Which isn't happening, even though she's a sweetheart.

Anyhow, I preapprove them on a couple of loans totalling about 72k. I talk to them about several aftersales products-credit life and disability, GAP waiver, warranties, the whole nine yards. These are things that they always buy, and at the price I'm selling them they're actually a good deal. Anyhow, they walked out of my branch Friday happy as clams and they're headed to the dealership to pick out their cars and bring me back purchase orders so I can close their loans.

They get to the dealership with their preapproval notices, pick out their cars, then tell the F&I prick that they've already gotten their preapproval with us and that they're going to close with me tomorrow because they prefer to close their loan at the branch. F&I prick proceeds to #1 run my institution down and attempt to get them to finance with our biggest competitor and #2 tell them that they have to close their loan at the dealership or they can't have the cars until he gets a check (which is a damn lie.) He then proceeds to sign them up on our paper (OK) at a higher interest rate than I approved (prick) and sell them GAP, credit insurance, and a warranty saying that my institution will still get the same commissions as if we had sold it (LYING prick).

I'm out roughly $200 in commissions on the deal, which is annoying as all Hell since I did all the work on it, not F&I prick. Even more annoying, they just got sold into the same products I sold them at higher prices-sometimes as much as 50% higher!

I'm so close to heading down to the dealership and beating the **** out of F&I prick.

I've been doing some work for my dad and have had to drive from Tulsa to Pawhuska everday. I have to take my laptop, an external harddrive, and a scanner with me everyday. I've been using a small rolling suitcase for transport it all. This morning I took a sport style water bottle with me to drink while I was driving out there. When I was leaving, I put the bottle in the suitcase (because I thought it was empty - which is wasn't) on top of the laptop. Well some of the water leaked out apparently got into the laptop.

The thing will boot up but freezes if I try to start firefox or click on the start menu. It'll probably freeze up if I try to do other things but those are the only two things I've tried to do.

So I don't know what to do.

Unfortunately. I don't have a few days. Plus...the thing booted up normally at first, I didn't realize it had any water in it. Then it shut down, I booted it back up and when it froze I picked up and there was a small amount of water underneath it. I mean it wasn't in a pool, it was almost like a vapor.
