I know...I guess I'm just morbidly curious about his behavior. Now that we're hearing a bit about *just* how crazy he is from you guys I wanna observe him...like a shrink would observe someone in a rubber room through one-way glass...or Diane Fossey watching the monkeys out in the jungle.
But I know what you're saying about the 'winning'. If it's as bad as you guys are saying (and apparently, it is) he needs to stay away forever-like. And I'm not uncomfortable saying that I'm now a bit afraid of him.

Heh. No - we're cooking dinner at our house tomorrow - Iggy, CAF, and a couple of other people are coming over.
So far preparations have been made for bellinis (peach and raspberry), cookies have been baked (PG's awesomeness), and I have just finished making the dough that I'm gonna turn into some killer French bread tomorrow.
PG and I are like some sort of unstoppable force of awesomeness in the kitchen.

Worked out with my trainer this morning for the first time in a couple of weeks. Have a nice little bit of soreness going but not too bad. Took the new Harley out for about 3 hours riding around and enjoying the gorgeous weather. I was craving some rum which I never drink and couldn't believe it when I had some in the liquor cabinet. Been sitting out on the deck sipping on some rum since. Going to grill out and sit outside with the Cowboys on one TV and the Mavs-Hornets on the other. Might put the webcast of the OU-UTA game on the laptop, too, and talk smack with the HAR who goes to UTA. Damn good day. Now if only some hot, smart, easy chicks would drop by.
No hot, smart, easy chicks have dropped by yet. Oh well. The night is young.

Well, we'd been planning this for a week or two. Actually, we'd been wanting to do a dinner at our house since a few months ago CAF invited a bunch of people over for homemade chinese food.
GHP and I spent a day cleaning the whole house and spent a day and a half cooking. We made almond bark covered pretzels, decorated sugar cookies, peach and raspberry bellinis, pasta with homemade pesto sauce, red sauce, and a sauteed mushroom sauce stuff. We made meatballs and fresh french bread. And a week ago when we set the day to do this, we told everyone (Iggy, CAF, and another friend) and specifically told CAF that she now officially had plans for friday night.
To give some background, for the past month or two, everytime we've invited CAF to hang out, she either has plans to hang out with her other friends or she's tired. So we've given her a week's notice to set aside the night because she's made plans with us this time.
Last week she comes over to study for a final with GHP and she borrows a couple of dvd's. She wanted to take The Producers, but we decided we'd watch it after dinner Friday. She said that'd be cool, and left the dvd here.
So everybody shows up Friday and there's a table full of freaking awesome food, there's a great fire going in the fireplace, and we're rocking with some awesome funk on the stereo. CAF refuses to talk to anyone, she looks like she's having no fun at all, and escapes to the garage twice to talk on the phone. Then she comes back and starts gathering up her stuff to go. We started trying to convince her to stay, and try to get her to admit she's having fun with us.... and it doesn't work
we jokingly stole her shoes and her keys and threatened (joking) to hogtie her and make her stay. And it didn't work. She was rather desperate to get away from all of us, or so it seemed. And it's really annoying.

what sucks is that we were in a woodwind quintet together, and a month or so ago when she started acting obnoxious, that carried over into the quintet. Before we were hoping for a good chance of getting accepted into a chamber music competition in the spring--which would have meant a free trip to California. But now not only would we proably not have a shot, the flute player and I are probably not even going to play in the quintet next semester.
Man, just ONCE can a crazy Asian chick not break up a band?

Holy crap, I am wiped. I spent the late morning and early afternoon moving my bedroom furniture over, and after much procrastination managed to actually get my room semi-put together. I still have boxes of clothes that need to go in the chester drawers and closet...but that can wait, because I had to go holiday party with the sexy party girls.
I can't emphasize enough how happy I am to be back in Tulsa full-time. :D

It was a real Bizarro kind of night; usually I go to these things and run into people who think they're meeting me for the first time and I have to be, like, "No, we actually have met a couple of times before. Nice to meet you again, though." There's actually one lush that floats around the edge of the group that whenever I see her, I simply say "It's okay, you'll just forget me again anyways." But THIS time, one of the party girls remembered me from a Halloween party from 2005...and I didn't know who she was until after I'd walked away from her and my friend Janie reminded me.
It was a very self-actualizing moment for me. ;)

Oof. So I set my alarm for over an hour before the final started this morning. You know, so I'd have time to get up, shower, eat breakfast, maybe grab a coffee on the way.
When do I wake up? 10 minutes before the exam starts. So I manage to get there somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes late. I was still the first one out of the room. :D I rule.
Update: I got a 91 on that final. Not bad.
Don't know how CAF did - she hasn't spoken to me in two days now. Heh.
You know, I hear that the worst part about getting rejected by an Asian is that thirty minutes later, you're hungry for rejection again.

Miss USA the Party Animal
Just when you thought all the news was depressing, The Daily News reports that Miss USA Tara Connor was spotted dancing sexily and making out with 18-year old Miss Teen USA in clubs. Miss USA also allegedly tested positive for cocaine.
Donald Trump, who owns the Miss USA pageant, is reportedly considering taking away Miss USA’s crown as soon as he can stand up. He’s been behind his desk since Thursday muttering “hummahummahumma.”
There’s no word on what Trump plans to do with Miss Teen USA but I’m sure he has several ideas. The man is always thinking.
It seems so old-fashioned to penalize Miss USA for having fun. I say it’s time to update the pageant to include competitions for sexy dancing and making out with other beauty queens. If the pageant isn’t willing to keep up with the times, they might as well have a butter churning competition, which by the way would be totally hot in my opinion. Anyway, my point is that times change. The pageant needs to keep up.
I don’t know all of the duties of a reigning Miss USA, but I assume she represents America in the United Nations. I’d love to see her debate Iran in the General Assembly, preferably with frequent breaks to make out with Miss Teen USA.
Miss USA: “And this is why the USA demands inspections of your…hold on… MMM-MMM-MMM … okay, where was I. Hey, do you mind if I do a line off of your turban?”
I suppose Trump’s argument is that Miss USA has not been upholding a proper image. But who would you rather have representing your country – a do-gooder who yammers about world peace, or the hot chick who’s trying to pin Miss Florida against the bar? America is all about freedom, not imposing your views on others. I say let Miss USA be free, like the great nation she represents. If we start restricting Miss USA’s right to party, the Taliban has won.

one year i put together a nifty computer desk with the track slots for the cd holders...cept i didnt line them up quite right.....so my cd's were slanted
or i'll get everything put together and have extra pieces......
The desk that I'm going to put together next has like file things on the top and I'm afraid they aren't going to line up.

I'm going to deftly sidestep all of that unpleasant business and instead compare MySpace blogs to Blogger.
So, in my pre-MySpace days, when I was an active member of the Monkey Project, I did all my bloggy-blog-blogging on Blogger. I ALWAYS hated the interface, it was clunky and ugly and nearly impossible to make your posts look, you know, like you wanted them to. So, once I started my MS page and started blogging with their INSANELY EASY program, I never went back to Blogger. Then, after I had the "falling out" with the rest of the Monkey Project, I never even looked in on the site.
Well, after making tonight's post on my blog, I decided (for some reason) to try and extend some sort of olive branch and also post it on my old home on the MP. So I cut it and pasted it into Blogger...and it broke.
Gah.
