A hole-in-one. Other than that, nothing.

I've jumped out of planes, ridden motorcycles at 160 mph, bungee-jumped, rock climbed, rappelled, killed trophy animals, had 5 kids, tried LSD, mescaline, cocaine, weed, speed, reds, ludes, etc., travelled the world, delivered a baby, seen death, eaten at many 5-star restaraunts and stayed at 5-star hotels, shaken hands with presidents, had dinner with Barry Switzer, been to Bob Stoops' house, watched the Sooners win 4 N/Cs, loved many, been loved by many, eaten monkey, coatamundi, elk, deer, bear, moose, snails, grasshoppers, ants, and worms, drank $1,500 a bottle wine, been in 4 states simultaneously, and married the woman of my dreams.

What the hell else is there?

yeah i'm thinking eating monkey is NOT on my short list of things to do

I left a topflite XL 2 inches from the cup on a par 3 once......closest I've ever been to the elusive hole in one. never been any closer than 8-10 feet since.

I've always wished I had a talent for singing....*shrugs*...sounds silly I'm sure, but thats mine.

Stoop Dawg,

You didn't see the part about "loved by many?"

JK,

I've been hanging on the edge (#2 at Westwood), and within an inch (#6 at OU) but haven't done it. The frustrating thing is that I have eagled a par 5 in Arizona from 230 yards with a 5-wood, but never an ace. One of these days though......

Boarder

Anybody else disappointed by BSG's pyramid/Egypt entry? I was seriously going to bet that hers would involve shoes, purses, and Italy.

BlondeSoonerGirl
11/20/2007, 12:54 PM
There's an old story behind that. Over the years I'd gotten a fortune out of fortune cookies from several different Chinese restaurants saying 'you long to see the pyramids of Egypt'.

Mabe TGOJM will bump that crappy old thread, too.

don't say i didn't try:

actually, i feel for you BSG. when i did my deployment in the navy, i saw 2 of the 3 things i wanted to see - paris and rome. we were suppose to stop in alexandria, which would've allowed us to get down to the pyramids. unfortunately, the asshat saddam acted up and we got called over to the gulf early. i still blame saddam for me missing my chance at the pyramids. i just don't think i'll ever get that close again.

Well, I'm not the kind to kiss and tell
But I've been seen with Farrah
I've never been seen with anything than a nine
So fine
I've been on fire with Sally Field
Gone fast with a girl named Bo
But somehow they did not end up as mine
It's a death defyin' life I lead
I take my chances
I die for a living in the movies and TV
But hardest thing I ever do
Is watch my leading ladies
Kiss some other guy
While I'm bandagin' my knee
I might fall from a tall building
I might roll a brand new car
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman
That makes Redford such a star
I've never spent much time in school
But I've taught ladies plenty
It's true I hire my body out for pay (hey, hey)
I've gotten burned over Cheryl Tiegs
Blown up for Raquel Welch
But when I wind up in the hay,
It's only hay (hey, hey)
I might jump an open drawbridge
Or Tarzan from a vine
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman
That makes Eastwood look so fine

Dunk.
Play one down of OU football.
Concerts are overrated. Can't remember 1/2 of them.
Never sky dived. Don't really want to.
Go to Ireland.
See my kids' dreams come true.
See OU win #8

Of course, some of the above I am in the process of trying to ensure they happen. Of course with dunking, that will never happen unless I use a trampoline. :D
