ESPN play-by-play announcer Brent Musburger during the first quarter of the Allstate Sugar Bowl between Oklahoma and Auburn decided to opine on Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon, who punched a woman in the face in 2014. In 2014, Joe Mixon allegedly assaulted a woman in a sandwich shop. Musburger didn’t really mention the details of the incident — though the video can be viewed here — and instead heaped praise on Mixon and hoped he ultimately had a good NFL career.
