Oh Obama is trying to get them as well, Clinton would only be Obama III... Never mentioned to my recall anything about DADT repeal.

Yep, The Socialist is trying to make it happen. He is looking at electronic trigger locks for guns. Oh that's reasonable... Nope, it's restrictive...likely to add $200 - $300+ to a $500 gun? De facto gun control... And besides, any gun with this feature would be made inoperable if an EMP pulse would be triggered.

I watched a 60 minutes thing on this issue. The NRA has fought the development of even having this as an option that a gun owner could have.

If there were organic consumer demand for these type of weapons it would already have happened. This isn't what gun buyers want. It's a step in the direction of more restrictive gun laws that Obama et al want .

You could be correct. However, the NRA is not allowing any organic demand for it to even start. The fact that, statistically, homes with guns are significantly less safe is really worth thinking more deeply about.

Also, on a side note, I saw a headline where 23 people were shot by toddlers this year. Imagine, if you will, if 23 Seventh Day Adventists shot someone this year.

Yeah about as much would be said as has been said about all those hundreds of black on black shootings going on across the country.

Same here.

Anyone got a list of those who actually lost their guns. And why?

I'm all for responsible gun ownership. If someone wants a .50 cal or a bazooka they should be able to have one. As long as they're responsible.

and Zippy begins the gun banning... incrementally. (http://thehill.com/regulation/pending-regs/278740-social-security-moves-to-block-the-mentally-ill-from-purchasing-guns) Grassley brings up great arguments. Government in business it should never be in...
