Only 2 bowl games have real meaning and a few have some national interest. The rest? BLAH! They are all televised. Why would I want to spend a bunch of money to go see my Tulsa Golden Hurricane play Va Tech Hokies in Shreveport, Lousyana???

The data used for the analysis came from box scores of each bowl game. The crowd totals listed by bowls often are paid attendance figures, not the actual number of fans at the game.

You did not imagine all those empty seats easily visible during the brief glimpses we got despite the broadcast trying to hide them through pointing the cameras down on the field the entire game.
