That was a ticky-tack call. But we got that PI call that was way out of bounds on the first drive. The only flag I really had problems with is that facemask on Baxter. I've seen RBs put a stiff arm into defenders mask a million times with no flag as long as they don't grab the mask and pull.

From a defensive perspective, there are 2 things that need to happen

1. Jordan Thomas needs to man up and make a tackle on the edge. Getting pancaked out of bounds on every sweep is just embarrassing.
2. Frank Shannon needs to calm down and make a play.

Every play of that drive was either at Shannon or Thomas.

I predicted our 2 FR OTs would cost us a game down the stretch, but I thought it would happen in conference. We just can't move their D-line enough to run the ball and it wouldn't be any easier against Bama or MSU. The flip side is that we may have a great O-line the next 2 years.
