According to the news Cody Thomas was announced as the back-up the Mayfield. He was also the assigned back-up in the OSU game, though was not needed. I guess Trevor Knight really is out. I know he was given a full release, but thought that meant next year.

Thomas should have started getting first team reps a longgg time ago.....

I've read elsewhere the shuffle at back-up QB happened after the TCU game. Pretty easy to understand why as TK wasn't ready to step in and do an adequate job. Now with a potential transfer, devoting practice snaps to TK doesn't make sense unless Thomas is just way behind.

We always have the Sugar Bowl with Trevor.
Good Luck to him!

In fact, Thomas was OU’s backup at Bedlam November 28. It would have been his game had something happened to Baker Mayfield.

The TCU game apparently demoted Trevor... and as much as we love him for being a great person, can't blame the coaches for that decision

Well, with the amount of time between OSU and Clemson, Cody should
get a lot of reps.....
