This appears to have been an overreaction from a ref that maybe was intimidated by a college coach's presence at a HS game, telling him to "do his job."
However, I thought you'd all enjoy. Also, this season appears to be the beginning of the end for Ford and it is incidents like this that are another brick in the wall.
About all that will hold OSU back from making a move after/during this season is that big arse buyout (about $9 million)
