Knight will reportedly take his time to make his decision as he doesn't want to be a distraction to the team as they prepare for the College Football Playoff semifinal against Clemson Dec. 31. Sources close to Knight also say he hasn't completely ruled out a return to OU even though he has a full release.

Best of luck to him. He is a class act and if he does go elsewhere, hopefully will find success.

I just saw this pop up on my phone. Good luck to him. Hopefully he goes somewhere outside of the Big 12. If not, it'll be interesting I still wish him well.

So, he could still play for OU against Clemson Dec. 31?

Wish him the best. He's been a class act. He had a great game against Alabama but other than that it's not been very consistent. I wouldn't mind seeing opportunities for the other guys further back to get more development.

Yes, he's still on OU's team. This just means he can join another team if he graduates. The article I saw didn't say if he would get his BS degree now or in the Spring (if either).

I saw an article saying Kansas State is an option. That kind of sucks. He was saying the other day at the press conference that he hadn't even thought about transferring.
Good luck to him, glad he was given a full release. He deserves it. He's handled himself really well.

That'll be crazy if he went to KSU. IF he does transfer I really hope its not a Big 12 team.

Best of luck. His efforts got OU a Sugar Bowl win vs. Bama...OH, "full release". Need the Beavis laugh

Transcript article this morning indicated he would graduate this semester / December.

I was convinced Knight was the answer at QB. It is weird how it worked out and how he just never took the next step. IMO, injuries played a major role in his lack of development. The injury from the totally unnecessary cheap shot by Oakman in the 2014 Baylor game was the final nail in his confidence. Sorry to see him go. He was a good team player. Good luck to him.

Is his brother Conner staying? He started to play well in the special teams.
