I've had two Pokeys tell me today they were going to a BCS Bowl.

I informed them there is no BCS anymore, but it got me to wondering what those major bowls like the Sugar Bowl that aren't part of the playoff this year are called? Any ideas?

Big 6 is the term ESPN uses to describe the regular Rose, Sugar, Orange, Cotton, Fiesta, Peach bowls.

New Years Six is what ESPN calls them. (Orange, Sugar, Rose, Fiesta, Peach and Cotton).
