I don't think anyone realized the depth of misery to our offense by not having solid QB play. I think Heup was somewhat scapegoated, except he obviously did a freaking incredibly terrible job getting QBs. Sure hope Austin is good.

We have different definitions. TK was as prepared as he has been for every game, so every game has been a trap game. We were just lucky not to know it. A trap game to me is when we play poorly against a team like ISU or KU the week after Texas. TCU is still a good team even with there backup QB and we were handling them. We looked prepared to me.

Whatever it is, the punt team defenders we're playing against always look like they're in a jailbreak track meet right to SS. Geeez, even if we're playing punt-safe our punt team blockers could slow them down a little I would think. If not then put JM back with SS on the punts and pull the old lay-down runaway to one side when the punt is going to the other side and at least try to return one for some positive yards with some trickery on one punt. Christ, at least it would get a few of the opposing defenders out of the play which our blockers can't seem to do.
