When I first heard he was doing the color on games. I thought, crap I gotta listen to this guy? Don't have to listen to Brent Musburger anymore, now this guy.

I must admit.... IMO, Mac is doing a pretty good job. That's right. Very knowledgable of each team and players each week. I am impressed. I can't believe it myself.

Mack Brown deserves a lot more credit than he gets...

But then you hear that whiny voice, and it is so hard to give it to him.

I have found myself liking him, too. Am I supposed to feel guilty or something? Hook 'em

A better commentator than coach...

He got a little cocky last night during the Wake Forest game and made a reference to both Vince Young and Colt McCoy. Otherwise did a good job last night.

Oh well, that's the only frame of reference he has.

Oklahoma, continuing the fine tradition of supplying Texas coaches.

Lee Corso still talks about his coaching days and look how long it's been since he last stepped on a field, ditto for Lou Holtz. It's what old coaches do, talk about "When i was coaching . . ." It's part of their charm.
