Will be first time. Flying down from Kansas City to my son in Ft. Worth.
Already have plane tickets.
Stub hub is $175.00 each.
I wont mind sitting in the Texas section. If my fantasies come true that section will be empty by half time.
It is very possible Texas will be 1-4 when we play them.
Should I gamble and wait to buy them outside the stadium from a Texas fan???

You might contact the Texas athletic office. I heard that Texas had not sold their allotment.

StubHub. Cheapest OU side $219; cheapest Texas side $175:

While reports say that DFW/Arlington isn't as stringent about enforcing anti-scalping laws, it's still in the books and arsehole whorn cops may try to spite some Sooners on gameday just because. However, it's not a bad place to go tickets or not. If you ride the ferris wheel you might be able to see the game from the top ;)

I've bought twice inside the fair next to the Cotton Bowl. I know at least one of those times, it was a high ranking matchup and it still wasn't hard to find a pair.

With the way Texas is playing this year, I expect you could get in for face at the fair.

I have heard horror stories of cops busting people selling tickets but I haven't actually seen it.

I have always had tickets before getting there. $175 sounds pretty good for stubhub.

The complicating factor for buying on site is an early game, it gives you less time to to find tickets.

I haven't been to it in a lot of years but have had good luck buying other tickets through Stubhub. Aren't they something like $125 face value now?

Face value is $135 this year. I have mine with me.

Had a buddy who was coming from Australia to the game back out on me. Was able to get $700 per seat selling directly to a ticket broker. Even when Texas sucks, (or OU), these tickets do well.

I'd wait, prices may get really low this year.

Try Ticket City. I Just got 2 in Sec 117 for $115 each. Its on the Texas end, but always a bunch of Sooners there. There is a $29 handling charge per ticket. Bet they get lower tho.

I just wouldn't want to carry that much cash on me at the fair grounds.......Also be careful, some people will sell LAST year's tickets that were not used.
