I hope when Paul Johnson retires he has a coach that carries on the option philosophy. It would be a shame to see that offense die when he is gone.

Agree. Switzer always said that when the blocking is proper, it's unstoppable. I'd rather watch 40 3-4 yard rushes than 40 3-4 yard passes any day of the week. Plus, throwing the ball sideways isn't wearing down the opponent's defensive line.

It makes playing Defense a bit easier too with the clock getting shorter. Like I said last night hopefully we will see some other teams start to run it. I am waxing nostalgic because that is what I grew up with but its still my favorite offense to watch.

A lot of good players on that team. Carr was a standout for sure.
