Hate this kind of mooshoo. I'd like to stripe the pillow of the person who originated the "stripe the stadium"-type concepts. I'd bet my last dollar it was an Aggy school.

As an alumnus of an SEC school as well as OU, I can tell you that to say that "Tennessee will go faggy" is like saying that their fans will show up for the game. It isn't new or special. The creamsicle orange alone is enough. That they are going to stripe the stadium is just the cherry on the turd sundae.

I think it's fine, maybe once a season, to do it for very special games; however, I'm not huge on the practice. If it went away entirely then I wouldn't miss it.
