Trey Millard cut by the 49s

Just saw this, Trey Millard was cut by the 49's, what a shame hope he can be picked up by another team - too much talent to just slip away!

The only 49ers fullback left on roster faces possible NFL suspension, so it's possible they'll practice squad Trey to save him for a roster when/if that happens.

Word out of Green Bay is that while they like Aaron Ripkowski, they may not be willing to keep two fullbacks on roster and may take their chances practice squadding him too.

The fullback, sadly, is becoming a relic of NFL's past, much like the franchise running back that had a well-paid career beyond age 30
