It is stated fairly directly here often that 50%+ of the country votes Dem and will vote Dem in the next Presidential election for selfish reasons to keep the benefits coming. I think we can all agree that many of you feel this way. Given this assumption, why isn't Bernie Sanders doing better? He's a more likely candidate to play Robin Hood and take from the rich and give to the poor.

hillary is the top dog. UNLESS she really gets dragged over the coals for her scandals...but then again as 52 said, the LIV won't GAS about any of that. ONLY if sanders gets the nod from the party.

Name recognition drives numbers 15 months out, and Hillary has it and Bernie is trying to have "it". Probably not two cents worth of difference between the two on domestic policy. Both big government socialists that will expand the scope and reach of the Federal Government.

The difference is in foreign policy where the neocon Hillary is much different than the pacifist Bernie. I mean Bernie lets some radical goofs commandeer his MIC at a rally over the weekend in Seattle. You have to wonder how he would handle ISIS or Putin? Bernie would cut the military budget even more, then spend that money on more domestic programs. His idea of a military would be equipping Peace Corp workers with a whistle and a Billy Club.

Is there a difference between Hillary and Bernie? I mean besides the fact Bernie hasn't committed a felony that we know of.

I.e., even though Hillary is a favorite of Wall Street billionaires and multi-millionaires, and Bernie is raising funds from lots of small donors, their domestic policy will be exactly (+/- $0.02) the same?

You have to pretend that there is a difference between Hillary and Bernie. There isn't. They both believe the same things politically. Hillary just knows she has to hide it during elections.

Especially from her big donors.
