Let's compare ideology of the Koch Brothers and George Soros. Let's go issue by issue and tabulate which of these has more in common with the principles and values this nation was founded on. The lefties on here should disown any connection to the scumbag George Soros, and distance themselves from him and his ideas..... But they won't.

Funny, I usually see Koch bros and Soros mentioned in the same sentence when the subject is selling our government. Folks seem to be okay with selling out as long as they have their own billionaire on "their team". I get canvassed all the time to donate to various national campaigns in other states. I know I'm behind the times, but I think it's wrong to influence elections in states if you don't live there or least have a 2nd home their. It's a moot point with me since I don't have the $$ to contribute, but I wouldn't send money even if I was loaded. The people of other states should decide who represents them. But the big money doesn't give a crap about local representation; their goal is to buy the entire congress.

Exactly. I don't care who it is or even if I agree with their politics - it's not the way the system was intended to work. But it certainly the way it works today and I'm not going to fight the river of money with the $5 I could afford to contribute. I'd have better luck with a lotto ticket.

You may not be for Soros, but the ENTIRE Liberal/Progressive establishment, the GREENS, and the Media (MSM) is all for Soros and his funded journalists he is spiking into all the news outlets...

Wal-Mart has been an American disaster since Sam left the company and is managing the big store in the sky... The heirs certainly are not pro-American anymore. Pro lefty yes, pro-American, no way...

True.

The heirs certainly are not pro-American anymore.

True. The 1% think of themselves as, and act as, "masters of the world."

Pro lefty yes, pro-American, no way...

. . . and that's off the rails. How exactly are the Walton heirs pro-lefty? Maybe because in the last few months they've been dragged kicking and screaming into raising their bottom-tier wages, but other than that they've been as 1% as they come.

Hint: It's not a leftist idea to ship all our manufacturing jobs to China.

No offense to any fans of Walmart, but every store I've had the displeasure of visiting has been poorly stocked, poorly managed, and you leave vowing to never return unless forced.

Nike was once foreced to deal with its overseas sweatshop labor force because of declining sales. I suspect that's what finally forced Walmart into action on wages, benefits, etc. Consumers dislike the stores because they suck, and they suck because their employees hate their jobs. Who knows? Maybe this will turn it around

The low wages at Wal-Mart are not the problem. They're one of the biggest job providers in the country which wouldn't be possible with the sort of wages socialist Bernie would like to see.

The problem with Wal-Mart is the destruction and havoc they have caused on small locally owned family stores. They're terrible, and they've caused an unbelievable amount of harm to the fabric of small town America.

Walmart isn't as friendly as it used to be, but it's still pretty friendly in my experience. They still sell beaucoup amounts of everything, and I don't believe there are lower prices around much, if any.

Love me some WalMart - except for the crowds of Neanderthals you encounter if you go during regular hours.

While I agree with you wholeheartedly, you are now a social engineer if you don't allow it.

I stand corrected! After a search and review, it seems they are more conservative with their spending than I had read. Apparently what I read before was a cherry-picked list. They seem to balance and spread the money around, but more to the pro-business side, which could be seen and also not seen as conservative.
