Between Rand Paul and Jim Webb, I would vote for Rand Paul.
Between Ted Cruz and Jim Webb, it would be a toss-up.
Between any other potential GOP candidate and Jim Webb, I would vote for Jim Webb.

I very rarely change my mind, and when I do it's because of changing circumstances or new facts. In any case, I haven't changed my mind at all in this case. I'm still voting for Ron Paul -- I'm merely stating that Jim Webb against other Republican competition would result in me voting for Webb.

The man has an incredible amount of political foresight, but not enough foresight to have anticipated this name confusion issue.

I guess it depends on how much you feel like being involved

Somebody somewhere is right now creating buzz and fundraising for the crappy lowest common denominator candidate that will win the primary for either party.

We are basically waiting to find out who our corporate masters want to spend money on

"Good" is pretty subjective though.

(In my adult life)Maybe ever. Looking back for me, JFK had some good to him, as did Zell Miller, and Sam Nunn wasn't a socialist, if I remember correctly. Those are the only 3 I can think of in my lifetime so far(70 years)
