The Oklahoma Sooners might still be figuring out which quarterback will start the 2015 season, but they're certain they've nabbed one of the nation's top-rated quarterback prospects for 2017.

Chris Robison, a 6-foot-2, 183-pound four-star recruit, is ranked as the No. 8 pro-style quarterback in the country, according to 247Sports Composite. He announced his intention to join the Sooners on his Twitter account.
Robison, who held numerous offers including from Oklahoma State and TCU. In fact, Robison's commitment to OU came only hours after TCU made national waves by obtaining a commitment from the nation's No. 1-rated dual threat QB in 2017, Shawn Robinson from Denton (Texas) Guyer.

Robison is the second quarterback landed by new Sooners offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley, who is installing a version of the Air Raid attack. Riley recently reeled in top-rated quarterback prospect Austin Kendall out of North Carolina

He has two years left to play high school ball. It's a bit premature to get a woody over a 2017 kid.

We'll likely have a new head coach and new coaching staff after the 2016 season, anyway. So, there's that.
