Well let's hear it Mr. Morals...what's your take on it?

Well, turd (that feels good to type). The hypocritical nature of extolling family values as the executive director of the Family Research Council's lobbying group with this in your past is pretty clear. That, and the fact that mom/dad helped hide it are curious. They took him to a State Trooper to confess. Said "Authority Figure", now serving 56 years in jail for child porn, said "no big deal". That's a WTF moment there.

Jim Bob says that he didn't have to report it because he was a child. Well, he was 15 and there are plenty of 15 year olds who've been tried as adults. That's a poor technicality to rely on when it's your kids who are "possibly" living with a sexual predator in the house. I'm not saying that this kid should be tried or is even a predator. I'm just saying that they handled it poorly and it's pretty arrogant to know that you have this in your background and then to go forward both on TV and then in the pipeline for running for office based upon your status.

I don't know what took place and I don't think it's my business. I just find the irony and the hypocricy of interest. And to try to say that people are after them due to their Christianity. It's another "War on Christians". Fox should have done what TLC did with them, dropped them and not let them try to prop themselves back up. Instead, they schedule a softball interview.

My 12 year old daughter loved that show and my much more liberal than I am wife watched it. The sappiness of it annoyed me so I did not partake. I'd like to say that I thought there was something wrong in the background, that my spidey sense told me that all was not as it appeared. If I said that, I'd be fibbing. It was just like watching paste dry.
