It's going to depend on the OL, the QB and however much LR decides to use Perine.

Speaking of Perine, how is his recovery from his injury? Whaley was never the same.

Perine ran for over 100 yards in the bowl game post-injury. Or is there another injury since then I don't know about?

Whaley had his ankle badly broken and did not ever recover enough to really play his final year. Entirely different level of injury.
