Rivals and 247Sports have finally given OLB Pernell Jefferson an evaluation and come back with a 3 star rating. I've updated the list accordingly.


Note: Couple of things to note today:




OU will be hosting their second junior day this weekend (March 7th). I expect there will be several offers that will go out, and possibly a commit or two (although, it's entirely possible that nobody commits). I'll update as I confirm any/all offers.





The Football Brainiacs are reporting (and has since been confirmed via a Tweet) that OU legacy Jared Mayden no longer has a 'top 3' and has "reopened" his recruiting. This is significant because the Sooners were not in his initial top 3. He attended the first junior day and raved about the experience. I don't think it's a coincidence that soon after his junior day experience, he reopens his recruiting. The Sooners are firmly in the hunt for the talented Texas cornerback.




For those that check this thread regularly, I am going to be making a significant change. After all my years on this board, I never knew there was a limit to how much you can put into a post (the number of characters). Apparently there is, and apparently I've reached it (with the first post). Since I've never kept track of offers on this board, I wasn't expecting to run into that issue. So, in order to continue with the updates, I'm going to split the offers into two separate posts: one for offense and one for defense. Should be pretty straight forward. I've considered opening the comment section for discussion, but I think it's just better (for those that just want the updates) if I leave them closed in these posts. I'll probably start discussion only threads that will be open for comments about the offers. This should all be done by the end of the coming weekend.
