Nice to land a Mississippi kid!

6'6" 265 lb defensive end from Yazoo City, Mississippi.

He had an offer from Alabama too.

Getting him away from the Mississippi schools is a nice accomplishment!

saw a blip about him and Miss schools...I don't have a membership to those sites. Said he is committed but something is happening? any word? just curious.

I have enough in my own life to GAS but curious.

He had committed to take visits prior to committing to OU, and he said he was a "man of his word" and he would honor the visits (to Ole Miss and Mississippi State). He told a member of the media that OU fans "don't need to worry at all" as he is "100% solid to OU".

I'm sure the state schools will put the full court press on him, but it really sounds like he's committed to OU. I've also heard that Ole Miss and MSU hardly communicated with him until he committed to OU, then all of a sudden they were all over him again.

Anything can happen before NSD, but I think he's locked in to OU

Just found out that Campbell cancelled his visits to Ole Miss and Mississippi. He said it was a "hard" thing for him to do since he had committed to visiting, but is 100% solid with OU and didn't want to waste anyone's time.
