dang...Frogs handing it to them...like someone said, it reminds me of OU's past D...just kicking butt and taking names...

Go Big 12...

I know others think differently, but I'm pulling for Big 12. Why? Might change some minds to go to 8 quicker.

Yes, I want the conf to look better...so sue me.

Patterson ain't lettin up, either. He'll push this into the 80's before he thinks about letting up. He might even try for 100 if he could to prove a point.

This isn't done getting ugly. Normally, the team let's up like Clemson did with us. Patterson is out for blood, and Ole Miss is ready to get on the bus.

Cool, we're only the second most embarrassing loss of the bowl season.

I don't want to be like SEC fans, since my team is in the SEC I'm a fan of every SEC team, but go TCU

I really enjoy them beating up on a SEC team.

yup, he's going to pile on....course no one will call him on it, like they did Stoops against a/m a few years back. Why? to "change" the system..prove they belonged. Ah well, nice to see an sec team that at one time was #1 getting buttwhipped by the big 12

It looks like Patterson is calling off the dogs. A little surprised he didn't keep it rolling at least through the 3rd.

49-10 is a beatdown, and would prove a point, but 70-0 would likely get them a split national title.

unless fsu wins out..which I think the ducks handle fsu easily...yeah split title possible but have to see what bu does.

If Baylor destroys MSU, and I were an AP voter, I'd probably put Bama at 3 even if they won the playoffs.

Next stop...8 teams!

yup...definitely if tcu adds a few scores and bu wins by a good margin..the push will be there. Course wondering what the Big 12 leaders will do...besides bithc and moan.

No, it wouldn't.

I don't know, I think Texas's 59 yards of total offense performance might be a bit worse than ours. It's close though.

Yes, but Ole Miss is/was supposed to be the #9 team in the country. I'd say that makes their loss much worse than either OU or TX.

For sheer lack of effort and ineptitude I'll put that stinkbomb we launched Monday night against any of these guys. Nothing quite gives a game that Keystone Cops feel like failed point after attempts.

I agree. We, at least, got 275 total yards. Ole Miss got 139 and UT got 59. It was the 5 turnovers (1 giving them a pick six) and penalties (2 of which they scored on the next play after we had stopped them and another took away our pick six) that made ours seem worse. So, I'm thinking we were the third worse loss. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Yes, it would.

Do tell how in your hypothetical a 70-0 beatdown of the #9 team in the country would somehow leapfrog a team that is going to beat two of the top 4 teams in the country?

As I said before, it wouldn't likely get them a split title.

I would try to explain this to you, but it's much easier to point to tOSU's jump by beating Wisconsin 59-0.
