Who is OU? .......

.....a few years ago, it seems to me, OU strangely became two separate teams....offensive OU and defensive OU, no longer a singular identity, working in tandem. The Sooner cache' forged over the decades was always a dangerous, quick strike offense coupled with a fast, punishing defense. The team over the past few years has morphed into a fragmented, partitioned conglomerate that no longer carries a 'team' or philosophical identity. The Sooners have become a sort of Frankenstein's monster that is, quite frankly, not very scary and somewhat impotent. Stoops needs to rediscover what it is to be a head coach and reshape his definition of 'team' because as it exists, there are too many cooks in the kitchen and nobody knows what to fix for dinner. A team always reflects the personality of its head coach and I don't believe coach Stoops to be inept and undisciplined....he has to fix it
